Rana Daggubati will soon undergo an eye surgery. Apparently, the Baahubali star has been experiencing high discomfort in his right eye and this is troubling him while shooting and preparing for films. Rana had also been complaining of pain for some time now. It seems the actor’s BP is high and doctors are waiting for it to come down before conducting the procedure. Interestingly, the actor took a short break from his shootings. He left to the US for a couple of weeks and just recently came back to Hyderabad.

Producer Suresh Babu (Rana’s father) says they are yet to set the date for the operation. Apparently the surgery would be Rana’s second one. “He was earlier operated at Maxivision under Dr Satish Gupta. This time he will be operated abroad; the place is yet to be decided. We are just waiting for the right time and date to proceed further.”

When asked about why Rana’s blood pressure is high, Suresh said, “It’s a hereditary thing; elders from his mother’s side have high blood pressure levels.”
Rana himself had once admitted of being blind in one eye (right) in his childhood. He was operated when he got a donor for that eye.
