Brahmotsavam makes big money

The distribution rights for the Mahesh Babu starrer has been sold for a record price in the Nizam area.

Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Brahmotsavam has been sold for a record price in the key part of Nizam area. According to a source, Abhishek Pictures has brought the film for a record price of Rs 21 crore, the highest price in recent times for a Telugu film in Nizam area.

The film is all set to release this month and the audio release will be on May 7 in Hyderabad. It also adds to the hype that the movie is directed by Srikanth Addala, the director of Mahesh’s superhit film Seethamma Vakitlo Sririmalle Chettu.

The shooting is wrapped up except for a song, which will be shot from May 3 onwards at the RFC. The post-production work is also going on at a brisk pace as the makers are planning to release the movie in the third week of May.
