Akhil Akkineni doesn't lose heart!

For the last few days, Akhil Akkineni has been touring many places in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in an attempt to promote his latest release Mr Majnu, which did not fare too well at the box-office. “He wants to meet the audience and interact with them, which he didn’t do for his first two films. So he is touring most of the places and is elated by the response. It definitely makes him feel positive and confident about his next film,” says a source from the unit.

The actor is reportedly not too worried about the fate of his film. “He is not bothered about the film’s collections, he is just trying his best to promote it,” says the source.

Meanwhile, producer B.V.S.N. Prasad and director Venky Atluri are happy with Akhil’s efforts.

“Wherever he goes, he talks very maturely and this will definitely help him in the future,” says a team member.
