After Keerthy Suresh, it’s another Malayalam girl Anu Emmanuel’s turn to dub for herself in a Telugu film. Anu, who is playing one of the leading ladies in Pawan Kalyan’s Agnathavasi, will dub her own lines for the first time in the Trivikram directorial.

The actress says that dubbing for a Telugu film has been on the cards for a long time. “I have been contemplating dubbing for myself since long, but it did not materialise. I believe dubbing in my voice brings authenticity to my character and adds a different dimension to me.”Ask Anu about her role in the family drama, and she says, “I am not at liberty to talk about my role, but it’s very substantial and yet different from what the audience has seen in my earlier films.”

The Majnu actress describes Pawan Kalyan as a cool co-star. “He’s always composed and focused on the sets. He’s down-to-earth, humble and doesn’t have any airs of being a superstar. I’m floored to see his humility,” she shares. The unit is currently in Varanasi and is shooting the final schedules of the film. Anirudh Ravichander is providing the music.
