Lavanya replaces Megha
The actress is will join the sets of ram's film next week.
Female lead actresses being replaced at the last minute because of their hectic schedules is not something new. Now, a similar problem has risen for Ram Pothineni and director Kishore Tirumala’s upcoming film, Vunnadi Okate Zindagi.
The filmmakers had roped in Megha Akash (who even attended the muhurat of the film) as one of the female leads along with Anupama Parameshwaran. However, after the launch, Megha signed another Telugu film LIE opposite Nithiin and got busy with that film shoot in the US.
While the makers of Vunnadi Okate Zindagi wanted bulk dates from Megha to complete their shoot, she couldn’t adjust her schedule as she had already committed to the other film. They have now roped in Lavanya Tripathi in place of Megha and want to start the shoot immediately.
“Anupama has completed most of her part and they were waiting for Megha to complete her portion too. But she couldn’t adjust her dates, so the makers were left with no option but to replace her,” says a source.
Lavanya, who is gung-ho about the project, is expected to join the shoot in Ooty next week,” the source adds.
