Safarnama Theatre took Hyderabadis back to the 1960s on Saturday, as they staged the play Coat ki Jeb at Lamakaan.
Written by Saheb Sharan Lal Srivastava, Coat ki Jeb revolves around the love story of Rajeev and Suman, and how Suman’s cousin Keshav plays an important part bringing the couple together.
Directed by Shashank Srivastava, the play was light-hearted but also dealt with serious issues like dowry. All the actors played their part convincingly.
