Regina Cassandra gave fans an impressive performance in her last Telugu film, Evaru, playing a character with grey shades. Now, Regina, we hear, is set for an encore in her upcoming bilingual film, Nene Naa...?, which is being directed by Caarthick Raju. In the poster, Regina is seen in a bridal wear, with bloodstains on her face.
“Nene Naa...? is a fictional thriller and there’s a mysterious element that surrounds the plotline. My role has much grey shades, but I have thoroughly enjoyed shooting for the film. As the narrative progresses, there’s a lot more to unravel of the story. I think the poster of the period drama gives enough hints that the story has several mysterious elements,” explains Regina, who will be seen as an archaeologist in the film. Then, adding with a chuckle, she says, “Let the guessing game begin.”
But the actress agrees to give us a glimpse of the plotline. “The film is about a journey of a woman and how a secret that is revealed affects her,” she says. “I have done quite a research for my part and have given my own spin to it.
