The recent terrorist attack in Kashmir has plunged the nation into shock and mourning. Believed to be carried out by Pakistan-backed militants, the brutal assault targeted innocent civilians and sparked widespread outrage across India. In a poignant show of solidarity, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, along with all 24 crafts of the industry, organized a candlelight rally to honor the lives lost in the tragedy.

Senior actor, former MP, and ex-MAA president Murali Mohan expressed deep sorrow over the incident. Condemning the attack as both tragic and unacceptable, he stressed that violence has no place in a peaceful country like India. He pointed out how such internal disturbances discourage tourism, despite India being home to world-renowned destinations. Murali Mohan called for national unity and urged citizens to stand together in support of the authorities fighting terrorism.

Prasanna Kumar, Secretary of the Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC), also strongly condemned the attack. He lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritizing the fight against terrorism, even cancelling his scheduled engagements. He also thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for their swift and supportive responses.

Echoing these sentiments, Telugu Film Employees Federation President Vallabhaneni Anil Kumar extended heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families. He reaffirmed the industry's commitment to supporting those affected and emphasized the need for increased awareness and preventive measures. He too thanked both central and state leadership for their prompt action.

MAA Associate Vice President Maddala Ravi joined others in condemning the attack and extended sympathies to the families of the 26 victims. He urged India’s 1.4 billion citizens to stand with officials working to root out terrorism and emphasized that the Telugu film fraternity stands united in this national cause.
