Amid lockdown, DD National brings back its epic 'Ramayan' and other iconic shows

I&B minister Prakash Javadekar took to his twitter to announce that the show is being brought back to TV on oublic demand

Ramayan is an Indian historical-drama epic television series, which aired during 1987-1988, created, written, and directed by Ramanand Sagar.

The show was aired every sunday on Doordarshan and gained lot of popularity for the performances and production.

With the 21 days coronavirus lockdown in India, people have been wondering about how to kill time. Many of them watch shows and movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime etc to spend the day and not get bored.

Keeping the same in mind Doordarshan announced that they are bringing the epic 'Ramayan'  back on their channel.

The channel has also announced that its bringing its other iconic shows like 'Mahabharat', 'Byomkesh Bakshi' and 'Circus' back on Saturday.

The news has made the fans all over the world very excited and nostalgic as the shows were very popular in the 80's and bringing them back has made everyone very happy.
