Veena Malik splits with hubby

Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who rose to fame in India due to her participation in Bigg Boss 4, has divorced her husband of three years, Asad Khattak.

The separation has been confirmed by Veena’s councel, Ali Ahmed, who said that soon after the actress filed for a divorce, the family court issued the decree on January 31 this year.

As reported by a Pakistan daily, the decree was passed in favour of Veena as Asad did not go ahead with the case.

If sources are to be believed, the actress is said to have filed for the divorce after a tiff with Asad and his family regarding her comeback to showbiz. Veena and Asad have a son and a daughter together.
