Ishita Dutta to play the lead in Life OK's show
Ishita was last seen in the television series Ek Ghar Banaunga which went off air in 2014.
Actress Ishita Dutta has been roped in to play the protagonist in Life OK’s upcoming show Rishton Ka Saudagar Baazigar. She will be seen romancing actor Vatsal Seth in the show. Ishita was last seen in the television series Ek Ghar Banaunga which went off air in 2014. Thereafter the actress was seen playing Ajay Devgn’s daughter in the acclaimed movie Drishyam. Ishita has been on a break of sorts from the tube after her last show went off air.
Talking about the same, she says, “When you are doing TV, you don’t get time to do anything else. After Ek Ghar Banaunga got over I took a long break as I wanted to focus on projects down South. During that time Drishyam happened and I got a chance to share screen space with Ajay Devgn and Tabu. I have also managed to do a web series in this span, which will go on air soon.
And now I have this show in my kitty. The best part is that it is a fairy tale-like love story with a twist and something that has not been seen on TV so far. So I am glad I am back with this project.” Like her last show, Ishita plays a Lucknowi girl in her upcoming show as well. She says, “I have some kind of karmic connection with the city I think, so I end up playing a Lucknowi again and again.”
