Sunny Prioritizing Hanuman Over Gadar 3?

There is a mounting pressure on Sunny Deol and director Anil Sharma to shoot Gadar 3 sooner rather than later. According to informed sources, Gadar producer Zee Studios has requested Sharma to start the film in early 2026 and complete it by the end of the next year. However, Sunny is committed to shoot for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana for a large part of 2025-26. “It’s true that Sunny has agreed to play Hanuman. But the role requires elaborate prosthetics and plenty of Sunny’s time,” says a source close to Sunny. The actor himself says, “Whichever project I am doing, I give my hundred percent. I am constantly searching for new ideas, new avenues to explore. I have a life beyond Gadar.” Sunny admits he has often de-prioritized his career. “Yes, I’ve made many mistakes, though neglecting my career. I’ve been too trusting and emotional. Even now, I trust people. I won’t spend money on films with my eyes closed. Today, I’m very clear about what I want.”
