Superstar Allu Arjun’s accidental association with Sri Tej — the boy who suffered serious injuries in the dead- ly stampede at Sandhya theatre on December 4 — has just deepened. While the boy is still not able to speak—it could be months or even a year before he can do that — he is also not recognising anyone. The Allu family has been told he has to be moved to a rehabilitation centre as medically, there are no more procedures to be performed.

The Allu family reportedly is in constant touch with the doctors at KIMS, who are attending to Sri Tej. Allu Arjun’s wife, Sneha Reddy, paid a visit to the hospital to get an update on his condi- tion last week. The boy will soon be moved to a rehab centre for recovery.
“Sneha Reddy visited the hospital and spoke to the doctors. They told her that the boy is unable to speak or recognise anyone even though he is opening his eyes,” hospital sources con- firmed to Hyderabad Chronicle.
In their hours-long discus- sion, the doctors also told Sneha though the boy is no more on ventilator, his brain cells have been damaged. “She has been told that the procedure has already been done and there is no further medical procedures left to perform. So shifting the boy to rehab is the best option,” they said adding that a con- cerned Sneha spent some- time with Sri Tej.
Every week, a member of Allu family or someone from his team are regularly visit- ing the hospital to get an update on the boy’s condi- tion, sources said. The Allu family is scouting for the best possible rehabil- itation centre for Sri Tej in consultation with doctors and the boy’s father, Bhaskar. We’ve learnt that they have even proposed some suggestions.
The boy’s father must decide which rehab facility to send his son to. The Allu family is willing to support financially too, it is learnt. Meanwhile, the state gov- ernment has deputed senior IAS officer Dr. Christina Z. Chongthu, Secretary to Government for Health, Medical, and Family Welfare in Telangana, to monitor the condition of the boy.
