Shruti Haasan’s Magical Voice Elevates Thug Life Track Vinveli Nayaga

Star actress Shruti Haasan is not only known for her impeccable acting skills but also for her exceptional musical talent. She is a renowned music composer and singer with a celebrated discography. Now, she is back in the news once again for her show-stealing performance in the audio launch event of Kamal Haasan's upcoming film, Thug Life.

Shruti Haasan lent her voice for the song "Vinveli Nayaga" in the movie. She performed it live on stage during the Thug Life audio launch event recently and mesmerised everyone with her magical vocals and energetic performance. This is the first song in the collaboration of Shurti Haasan, Kamal Haasan, director Mani Ratnam and music director AR Rahman.

Vinveli Nayaga is a thumping track which elevates the protagonist's character. Shruti added depth to Rahman's trademark composition with her voice. After its release, Vinveli Nayaga became an instant chartbuster and is ruling the playlists of the audience. Meanwhile, Telugu audiences also fell in love with the song and are eagerly waiting for the Telugu version of the track.

Shruti earlier lent her voice for songs in many Kamal Haasan's films, including Thevar Magan, Hey Ram and Unnaipol Oruvan (Eenadu). Now, she is back with a blockbuster song for her father.

Thug Life is an action drama, featuring an ensemble cast, including Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, Trisha, Abhirami, Sanya Malhotra, Nassar, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Tanikella Bharani and Mahesh Manjrekar. It was jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies. Thug Life is slated for a worldwide release on June 5.

Coming to Shruti Haasan, she will soon be seen in Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film, Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is slated for a worldwide release on August 14. Apart from that, she also has Vijay Sethupathi's Train and Prabhas's Salaar 2 in her lineup.
