Things took a wild turn at the Rolling Loud India festival on November 23 when a section of the audience turned violent. The concert, which was headlined by Punjabi singer Karan Aujla at Loud Park in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, was marred by chaos after a viral video surfaced showing a physical altercation between Nigerian influencer Agu Stanley Chiedozie and another concert attendee.

In a video widely shared on social media, Agu Stanley, an Internet sensation and one of the very few Nigerians who speaks fluent Hindi, was captured clutching the other man's collar, as he reportedly lost his cool. People around them quickly intervened by separating the two men to avert a serious situation. The cause of the altercation has not been determined, as Agu and the other man have not released any statements concerning the incident.
The mayhem eclipsed what was supposed to be a night of music. Many commenters on social media spoke of the shock of sudden violence. One said, "Agu got no chill," while another asked, "Kis baat ka panga h?" ("What's this fight about?")
Undeterred, Karan Aujla continued with his performance. The singer, whose real name is Jaskaran Singh Aujla, put on his signature energy-driven show as he belted out hits like "Chitta Kurta," "Softly," and "Tauba Tauba." Concert goers were engaged. The concert had more drama when a fan threw a T-shirt at him in the middle of the performance. Aujla dodged nimbly, picked it up, and calmly threw it back into the audience after wiping sweat off his face-a feat that only highlighted the difference between his composure and the chaos happening in the crowd.
With an international lineup featuring NAV, Sheck Wes, Rich the Kid, and Westside Gunn, among others, festival organizers are now under scrutiny for crowd management and security protocols. At this point, fans and attendees remain in the dark about the cause of the fight. With no statement from Agu Stanley Chiedozie or other parties involved, many wonder: What was the trigger for this sudden outbreak on a night that would otherwise have been music and celebration?
