Sandalwood actress Rashmika Mandanna lashed out at people who have assumed and said many things about her break up with fiance Rakshit Shetty.

Rashmika and Rakshit called off their engagement a few days ago and their fans seemed quite disappointed. This unforeseen incident led to formation of groups with different opinions on social media. Rashmika was painted as the villain by most people till her mother Suman Mandanna revealed the truth. The couple were facing compatibility issues and hence decided to part ways mutually and called off the engagement. Rakshit was off the social media grid for a while but had to come back and clarify the situation with a heartfelt note.

And now, Rashmika Mandanna breaks her silence on the issue. The actress lashed out at people who have assumed and said many things about their situation. “Sorry I’ve been silent for so long..but I’ve been watching a lot of stories, articles, comments and trolls about me..it has been disturbing me on how I was being portrayed and everything blew out of proportion and yes I definitely don’t blame you guys for it..because that’s what you’d believe and I am not here to justify anything or anyone..[sic]” began Rashmika in her long and upfront post.

Rashmika also insisted that the break up and its aftermath had taken a toll on her and asked fans to let them work in peace. Rashmika added that she is going nowhere and will continue doing Kannada films. “Please let us who work in our industry, work with a little peace of mind..That’s my two cents, let me conclude by saying I will CONTINUE DOING KANNADA FILMS.. I AM HERE TO STAY...[SIC]” wrote Rashmika.
