Mumbai: Actress Hariprriya who is riding high on her recent successes in sandalwood returns with another interesting tale, Ellidde lIleethanka which is set to hit the screens this Friday.

While the movie stars the popular talk show host Srujan Lokesh in the lead, the title of the movie was inspired out of his legendary father Lokesh's evergreen song - Ellidde Illeethanka from the movie Ellindalo Bandavaru, released in the year 1980.

However, the talking point of the movie has been the 'kissing' scene involving the two lead actors - Srujan and Hariprriya, especially after it started to make some noise on social media with comparison over actress Rashmika Mandanna's lip-lock scene from her popular Telugu movie Geetha Govindam.

Reacting to it, Hariprriya has 'explained' that unlike the lip-lock scene as it is being compared, hers is a just a kissing one. "I am very well aware of my limits as an artist and my responsibilities towards my audience who come along with their families to watch me perform on the screen," she says, adding that she agreed for a sequence involving a kiss since the script demanded to showcase the intimacy between the two characters but whereas she disapproved any other commitments beyond her limits before signing the project.

The romantic-comedy is directed by debutant Tejasvi, who is a popular theatre and television actor.
