It's a Puli heartache

Remember Puli, a mega budget Tamil venture starring Vijay, Sridevi, and even our very own Kiccha Sudeep in a special role? With huge expectations, Puli released worldwide, and distributors literally queued up to get the rights of the movie.
Noted Sandalwood director S Narayan, too tried buying its rights for a reported Rs 4 crores. However, after its release, the picture seems to be causing problems for many of its distributors as it bombed at the box office.
While Narayan claims that Puli’s producer made some efforts to compensate the loss to distributors, he has been left out.
Disturbed over the alleged discrimination, Narayan who claims that he has so far suffered a loss of more than Rs 4 crore has decided to protest in front of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC).
