After drawing Rs 32 crores plus net collections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana till now, Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab is losing steam at the box office. "It managed to garner Rs 3 crore net collections on Monday and it's not quite encouraging for a big ticket film," says a distributor. He claims that the horror comedy has to compete with Chiranjeevi star power in the days to come. "Telugu audience have another option and Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh has an edge, "he adds.

If director Maruthi has designed a better film and script with Prabhas, it would have been different and drawn big numbers.."Netizens and audience are blaming Maruthi and his no brainer stuff for disappointing them and it is reflecting in dropping collections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana," he points out.

The spooky thriller has been sold for 150 crore in Telugu states and has to make a lot of money to save distributors from risk. "Prabhas had to pull more footfalls, otherwise it would be tough," he concludes.
