Prithviraj Sukumaran Awaits Face Off with Prabhas in Salaar 2

Movie lovers across the nation still vividly recall the adrenaline-pumping action of Salaar, the explosive collaboration between Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel. The film, praised for its high-octane action sequences and powerful character elevations—especially the intense confrontations between Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran—became a cult hit and left fans eagerly awaiting the sequel.

Now, the buzz around Salaar: Shouryanga Parvam—the second installment—is gaining momentum. Speaking to reporters recently, Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran confirmed that Salaar 2 is indeed happening. Expressing his excitement, he said, “It’s definitely happening, that much I can tell you. Prashanth, as you know, is currently working on a film with Tarak (Jr NTR), so once that’s done, we’ll regroup for Salaar 2.”

Prithviraj added that he is eagerly looking forward to locking horns with Prabhas once again on the big screen, hinting at more intense drama and action in the sequel.

Salaar featured an ensemble cast including Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, John Vijay, Easwari Rao, Tinnu Anand, Devaraj, Brahmaji, and Mime Gopi. The gripping background score and soundtrack were composed by Ravi Basrur, whose music added another layer of intensity to the film.
