In a major move to expand global access to Korean entertainment, Prime Video and South Korean media giant CJ ENM have announced a multi-year strategic collaboration to distribute high-quality Korean content to over 240 countries and territories outside Korea and China. The announcement was made at the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in Mumbai.

As part of the deal, Prime Video will exclusively premiere new titles from CJ ENM, Studio Dragon, and CJ ENM Studios throughout 2025 and 2026. The rollout begins with the much-awaited fantasy romance drama Head Over Heels, which launches globally in June 2025. Other popular titles from CJ ENM’s existing catalogue—including Her Private Life, Another Miss Oh, and Mouse—will also be added to Prime Video, significantly enriching its Korean content offering.

All titles will be made more accessible with subtitles in 28 languages and dubbing in 11, reflecting Prime Video’s push for localized and inclusive storytelling.

“This partnership underscores our commitment to making entertainment truly borderless,” said Kelly Day, Head of International & VP, Prime Video. “Korean content has global appeal, and we’re excited to bring CJ ENM’s most compelling stories to our viewers worldwide.”

Gaurav Gandhi, VP of APAC & MENA at Prime Video, added, “As a destination for the best Asian content, this collaboration brings front-row access to Korean storytelling for our Prime members globally.”

CJ ENM’s EVP, Jangho Seo, expressed confidence in the alliance, saying, “With Prime Video’s reach and dedication to accessibility, we’re excited to bring our stories to fans across cultures. This marks a pivotal step in our global expansion.” Prime members will be able to stream the new Korean content at no additional cost as part of their subscription.
