Just days ago, Ram Charan joined co-star Jr NTR at the RRR screening held at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London. Amid the fan frenzy, many were eager for updates on Charan’s upcoming film Peddi—and the actor finally delivered.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Ram Charan expressed his enthusiasm for the project. "Peddi is shaping up really well. The entire team is thrilled with the progress, and I’m confident the film will connect with audiences at the box office," he said. Charan revealed that nearly 30% of the shoot has been completed and added that he will resume filming in mid-May.

The actor drew comparisons between Peddi and his 2018 blockbuster Rangasthalam, promising that the new film will surpass it in both scale and emotional depth. "Peddi will be bigger than Rangasthalam in terms of canvas and emotional impact. I can assure you that," he added with conviction.

Rangasthalam, directed by Pushpa fame Sukumar, remains the biggest solo hit of Ram Charan’s career—a rustic drama that broke box office records. Now, with Peddi helmed by Sukumar’s protégé Buchi Babu Sana and rooted in a similarly raw and earthy setting, comparisons are inevitable. Expectations are high, and fans are eagerly watching Charan’s next move.
