Suriya's Viswanath and Sons OTT Rights Sold

Suriya’s upcoming movie Viswanath and Sons is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The film's teaser was unveiled on March 16. Mamitha Baiju plays the female lead in the movie.

According to reports, Viswanath and Sons has already collected Rs 300 crore before its release.

Netflix has acquired the OTT rights for the film, which will be released on August 14. The film will be available on Netflix after its theatrical run and will be released in multiple languages.

The film is written and directed by Venky Atluri, marking his debut in Tamil cinema. The film boasts a stellar cast that includes Radikaa Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in important roles.

Suriya was last seen in Karuppu, which performed well at the box office. Following its success, Suriya gifted luxury cars to a few members of the film's team.
