NTR, Prashanth Neel Film Shoot From December 13

Dismissing all rumours of differences between reigning star Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel, a reliable source confirms that the much-awaited film will begin shooting this week. “The actor and director are fully in sync, and the shoot starts on December 13 at Ramoji Film City on a specially erected set,” the source reveals.

The team also denies speculation about Bollywood actress Kajol playing a key role. “Kajol has nothing to do with our film,” the source clarifies, adding that NTR will be paired with Rukumi Vasanth of Kantara 2 fame to bring romantic flavour to this action-centric drama.

According to the source, NTR took a brief break from Dragon to build muscle for a rugged new look. “He has to portray a larger-than-life character. Prashanth Neel has designed an invincible avatar that will elevate NTR’s action image and offer fans a unique, high-voltage saga,” the source adds.

In an interesting twist, Prashanth Neel—known for largely avoiding songs in films like Salaar—is reportedly set to break his own pattern. “He is planning a special number with NTR, and a top heroine will be roped in. The aim is to create a chartbuster on the lines of Oo Antava from Pushpa. Such songs add glamour and mass appeal to star-driven films. Though Neel rarely uses item numbers, he has incorporated a few in the past.”

The shoot schedule for this number is expected to span two to three months, with the film promising a blend of scale, style, and spectacle.
