Mythri Movie Makers Flags Fake Accounts; Urges Fans to Stay Vigilant

Leading Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers has once again cautioned the public about fake social media accounts and impersonation attempts in its name.

A fortnight after warning about an Instagram account impersonating one of its producers, the production house announced on Saturday that an individual has been falsely using the name of producer Naveen Yerneni and approaching people under pretenses.

Taking to its X timeline, Mythri Movie Makers stated that the impersonator is using a phone number, +91 7543869902, along with an Instagram account to pose as Naveen Yerneni. The production house urged the public to report both the number and the fake Instagram account, clarifying that any official communication will only come from its verified handle, @MythriOfficial.

The banner also recalled issuing a similar warning earlier this month. In a separate post aimed at alerting aspiring artistes, Mythri Movie Makers reiterated that all casting calls for its films are announced exclusively through its official social media handle. The production house requested people not to engage with any individuals or agencies claiming to represent or cast for Mythri projects.

Additionally, Mythri Movie Makers informed that another Instagram account impersonating Naveen Yerneni has come to its notice and urged everyone to stay vigilant and report such misleading profiles.

Mythri Movie Makers is not alone in facing this issue, as several film production houses across the industry have been dealing with an increasing number of fake casting agents and impersonators targeting unsuspecting individuals.
