Shantha Tara’s Jazz Sextet will perform at The Piano Man, Delhi, on July 27, offering a soulful blend of classic jazz and modern groove in a lively ensemble show.

The Piano Man, in collaboration with The City of New Orleans, is all set to host Shantha Tara’s Jazz Sextet on July 27 — a performance that promises to merge the golden charm of jazz with the richness of modern soul and R&B.This marks the third concert in the ongoing series between the celebrated venue and the New Orleans initiative, spotlighting jazz’s global legacy through new interpretations and dynamic musical collaborations.

Fronted by the versatile Shantha Tara, whose soulful vocals form the emotional core of the ensemble, the sextet is known for breathing fresh life into jazz standards and reimagined pop classics. Joining her on stage are Tanisha Bhatnagar (bass and backing vocals), Raghav Khullar (drums), Aniket Chaturvedi (saxophone), Vatsal Bakhda (keys), and Amar Sukesh Tirkey (guitar). Each artist brings deep jazz roots and an intuitive sense of improvisation to the set.

The band’s hallmark lies in making jazz accessible without compromising its depth — taking familiar tunes and transforming them with swinging rhythms, lush harmonies, and rich textures.

“This isn’t just a concert — it’s an experience that swings between nostalgia and newness,” said a spokesperson from The Piano Man. “Whether you’re a longtime jazz aficionado or someone new to the genre, this show has something for everyone.”

Catch Shantha Tara’s Jazz Sextet live on July 27, 9 PM at The Piano Man, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi — a night of improvisation, chemistry & genre-defying jazz.
