Hyderabad: K pop band BTS is back with a bang after announcing a break from their group performances. The seven-member Korean pop group comprising Jungkook, V, J Hope, Jimin, Jin, RM and Suga had broken the hearts of the BTS ARMY when they said they would now focus on individual growth.

Another reason was Korea's mandatory military service which compelled the group to announce their hiatus from group work.

On May 12 1 pm KST, the Bangtan Boys dropped their first full group OST for the animation series Bastions. The BTS ARMY can't stop going ga ga over this.

That is not it, BTS' OST The Planet climbed up the music charts within hours after its release, much to the delight of the K pop fans.

The BTS' OST The Planet teaser was shared by the group's official social media handle Big Hit Music, sending the internet into meltdown.

Their first reunion as a band since hiatus was a visual treat to BTS fans across the globe. The vocals by BTS band members left the ARMY asking for more, garnering lakhs of views in less than a day after its release.

Now, the BTS OST The Planet is creating waves on global iTune charts. The song is already No.1 in over 67+ countries, including the US, Australia and France.

BTS ARMY is over the moon and trending the hashtag #ThePlanetByBTS on Twitter to share their joy.
