Mane Maratakkide movie review: Illogically hilarious

Amidst serious and logical experiments, senseless entertainment in the name of horror-comedy has been a sigh of relief to those audience, who seek nothing but a quick time pass to laugh their hearts out. And, Mane Maratakkide, a remake of Telugu hit film Anando Brahma serves the exact purpose with loads of humour attached to it for two hours.
With a perfect borrowed script, four leading actors well versed in comedy - Sadhu Kokila, Ravishankar Gowda, Kuri Prathap, Chikkanna justify their casting, which is tailor made to their onscreen image.
A fun version of horror is the essence of this one from Manju Swaraj, who keeps it mostly original while tweaking a bit for the Kannada audience. Whereas the story is concerned, it is pretty imaginary which revolves around a haunted house.

The first half is more or else a platform to set the stage for the funny act mixed with some real good horror post interval. The illogical horror-comedy is the actual hero of this film which guarantees everyone their share of laughter. Watch out for Sruthi Hariharan, who is too happy to scare the four eccentrics.
