A still from 'Flat 211.'

Director: Sunil Sanjan

Cast: Jayesh Raj, Sonal Singh, Samonica Shrivastava

Dubai-based IT professional Sunil Sanjan turns movie director with his debut film 'Flat 211' which is a thriller. The film is about an incident that takes place at Flat 211 and how the primary characters get involved in the incident, leading to a mess. In the meantime, the mysterious identity of the person responsible for the incident grows, leading to a dramatic turn of events.

Barring Jayesh Raj, other actors are awful. Wonder if they were shooting a film or a daily soap. Jayesh looks real and convincing in bits and pieces certainly, because he is an experienced actor amongst the entire cast.

The direction of Sunil Sanjan is good for his first film, but he needs to spruce up his skills to sustain in the movie business. Though he has spent a lot of money on marketing and shooting in the exotic locations in Dubai, the film has nothing great to offer. With six major releases this Friday, 'Flat 211' is easily a passable affair. In the worst scenario, enter 'Flat 211' at your own risk!
