Bollywood actress Mouni Roy, who recently shared the screen with megastar Chiranjeevi for a special number in Vishwambhara, reportedly took home a handsome paycheck.
“She was paid around Rs 45 lakh for the two-day shoot of the lavishly filmed song,” reveals a celebrity manager.
“She worked hard to match steps with one of Indian cinema’s finest dancers, Chiranjeevi, and rehearsed diligently to perfect the moves,” he adds.
Mouni, known for her sizzling performances in Hindi songs like Mummy Ji, Disco Balma, and Baithhe Baithhe, has now made her Tollywood debut with this energetic dance number. Choreographed by Ganesh Master, the song was recently shot on a grand scale, with Mouni sharing glimpses from the set on her Instagram.
In a heartfelt note, she wrote, “Dancing beside you for the last few days has been an honour, Chiranjeevi sir. You’re not only a legendary actor but also a truly wonderful human being. I felt immense warmth and respect throughout. Thank you for the unforgettable experience, the kindness, and the best biryani ever. We love you.”
With this performance, Mouni joins the league of top actresses like Pooja Hegde (Coolie), Sreeleela (Pushpa: The Rise), and Tamannaah (Jailer), who have also made waves with special songs. However, her remuneration remains on the lower side compared to these stars. “Top actresses command between Rs 1 to 1.5 crore per song, so Mouni had to settle for a relatively modest fee for this Telugu dance number,” the source adds.
