Radhika Sarathkumar Gets Busy in Tollywood

Veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar appears to be entering another busy phase in Tollywood. After playing the mother of Tamil star Suriya in the Telugu film Vishwanath & Sons, the actress has now taken up a key role in the upcoming Telugu film Comrade Kalyan.

Her first look from the film has already caught attention. Sporting a ‘Jai Balayya’ headband and a serious expression, Radhika will be seen as Saraswathamma. Her intense body language and the decision to portray her character as a Balakrishna fan have added an interesting dimension to the role and raised curiosity about the film.

Radhika has a long-standing association with Telugu cinema, having acted in around 25 films over the years. She made her Telugu debut with Nyayam Kavali alongside Chiranjeevi and went on to share the screen with him in films such as Patnam Vachina Pativratalu and Sivudu Sivudu Sivudu. Her performances in classics including Swati Mutyam and Swati Kiranam further established her as a versatile performer among Telugu audiences.

In recent years, Radhika has successfully transitioned into character roles. Her portrayal of Ravi Teja’s mother in Raja The Great was particularly well received and showcased her ability to bring warmth and emotional depth to supporting characters.

Now, the actress is choosing roles selectively and continues to remain relevant across generations. With her strong screen presence, dancing ability and natural flair for performance, Radhika still brings the energy and charm associated with her younger days.
