Director Tharun Moorthy’s upcoming Malayalam film, Athimanoharam, features Mohanlal in the lead role. Rumors have been doing the rounds that the film’s shoot has been halted due to script issues. Tharun has put all the rumors to rest by issuing a clarification.
He posted a monochrome picture on his Instagram Stories. The text on it reads: “This is completely false. We have been shooting here in Thodupuzha for the past 78 days. Yes, the rain and weather conditions have affected some of our plans, but our team is working hard to overcome every challenge and continue filming with great enthusiasm and positivity.”
He requested everyone not to spread unverified information for personal likes, views, or reach. "Such misinformation can create unnecessary confusion among the audience and affect the efforts of the entire team. Thank you for your understanding and support," the filmmaker added.
It marks Mohanlal’s 360th movie and Tharun’s second collaboration with the actor. Mohanlal plays Sub-Inspector T.S. Lovelajan. The music has been composed by Jakes Bejoy, while editing is handled by Vivek Harshan, known for his work on Manjummel Boys and Aavesham. Meera Jasmine will be seen as the female lead.
This year, Patriot and Drishyam 3 have been among Mohanlal's theatrical releases.
