Tovino ready for Kollywood

Tovino’s ascension to stardom continues as his latest release Godha is running to packed theatres. His earlier release, Oru Mexican Aparatha, had also tasted success. The latest news is that he is all set to step into the Tamil film industry. It is veteran female director B.R. Vijaylakshmi who is taking Tovino to T’wood in a new movie produced by Santhosh Shivan. Ko and Goa fame Pia Bajpai has been roped in for the female lead.

The film will also be Vijayalakshmi’s comeback vehicle to the big screen after 22 years. Vijayalakshmi, the daughter of legendary director B.R. Panthulu, made a name for herself as Asia’s first female cinematographer working in 22 films. She later debuted as director with the SPB-Rahman starrer Paatu Padava. The official announcement of the new project will be out soon.
