Although many countries have given the use of cannabis a clean chit, many others still consider it a Schedule 1 drug and clubs it with the likes of LSD, heroin, and Ecstasy. It’s termed as a psychoactive drug that is used for recreation, can be misused and hence banned in most countries. But with increasing research being conducted around this subject, the drug has been proven to have some significant medicinal effects.

To help understand this drug better, Ryan Bishop started his company, Cannaris Analytical Labs in 2010. They have been providing scientific research data and help with testing in the regulated cannabis industry.

It won’t come as a surprise that this isn’t the only company Bishop founded. Being a serial entrepreneur, Bishop has his name associated with companies like Option One Healthcare, Dope Nation Agency, and Axiom Hemp & CBD, to name a few. As Bishop began his journey with the cannabis industry, he started medical offices that concentrated in making cards for Arizona cannabis patients.
Cannaris Labs are working on their expansion plans and plan to leave a trace in all cannabis legal states. They intend to partner with several California licensed distributing agents to ensure that California gets full assent for cannabis testing. With the view of expansion, Bishop has been working hard on raising capital and has procured funding of $10 million valuation this year.

According to GreenWave Advisors, independent investment research and advisory firm, Cannabis testing laboratory revenues can reach up to $850 million in the coming year. As the cannabis business grows in the U.S, testing facilities are constantly being set up to meet the growing demand.

There is a huge majority of people who don’t believe in the medical applications of cannabis, but Bishop insists that there is a reason why his company’s research is so important. He quoted saying, “Our labs across North America will provide the highest quality analytical and R&D service while providing consulting to our customers achieving a safer quality product. All labs will provide the same level of accuracy, customer service, and professionalism.”

With the importance of not only educating the masses but also trying to ensure that cannabis can be used under more legal circumstances to help individuals, Bishop is now on the lookout for other locations that will help achieve his goal, to deliver to their consumer base through application or acquisition. Bishop believes that they will have many multi-state large organizations that will depend on them to provide consistent testing and follow their expansion footprints no matter which state they are present in.

With growing potential and such little knowledge, Cannaris Analytical labs can own one of the largest footprints in the cannabis testing industry. Under the able guidance of Bishop and his team, the cannabis industry will have paved a path to a clean, green, and disease-free future.
