DGP T P Senkumar wants medical board to probe death of Kalabhavan Mani

The police team failed to find any evidence of murder or suicide as suspected.

THRISSUR: DGP T. P. Senkumar ordered the constitution of medical board to probe the death of Kalabhavan Mani even as the police team failed to find any evidence  of murder or suicide as suspected. “On Wednesday night, we released three close associates of Mani-- Arun, Vipin and Murugan- who were questioned for nearly a week,” a police officer told DC on Thursday.

C.M. Ayyappan, father of Arun,  hailing from Chenathunadu in Chalakkudy, said that  the cops had told  Arun that a final conclusion could be reached after the quantitative analysis the internal organs of the  actor was  completed at the central forensic analytical lab in Hyderabad.

The  Chalakkudy police had registered a case after Mani’s younger brother R.L.V. Ramakrishnan raised some allegations against the three associates on  March 17.
