Chola directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan is finally reaching the cinemas on December 6.

Right after announcing the release date of the much-awaited Sanal Kumar Sasidharan directorial Chola, the makers have released a promo video song from the film on all social media and YouTube. The video song Nee Vasantha Kaalam, sung by popular singers Harish Sivaramakrishnan and Sithara, has both the singers in a retro look and takes the listeners on a trip down memory lane. The four-minute video song also features Nimisha Sajayan and Joju George. Basil C.J.has written and composed the songs.

After being screened at some of the most prestigious film festivals of the world like Venice Film Festival and Tokyo Film Festival, Chola directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan is finally reaching the cinemas on December 6. The movie, which has Joju George, Nimisha Sajayan and debutante Akhil Vishwanath in lead roles, had also won four awards at the Kerala State Film Awards this year, including those for the best male and female actors. Having a thematic similarity with Sanal's last movie S Durga, Chola revolves around the incidents that happen in the lives of two youngsters who come to visit the city for a day but had to spend the night in an unknown place. The movie has been produced by Joju and Karthik Subbaraj. Other movies directed by Sanal, Oralpokkam (2014), Ozhivudivasathe Kali (2015), S Durga (2017) too are critically acclaimed films that have bagged numerous international awards and accolades. His next will have Manju Warrier in the lead role.
