Two Keralas exist inside Kerala, says 'Kerala Story' director Sudipto Sen

As the controversial movie The Kerala Story has been released across theatres in those states which have not banned the movie, it’s director Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Shah reiterated that the movie is not propaganda against Muslim community. Sudipto Sen, while addressing a press conference, said that two Keralas exist inside Kerala - one which is like a picture, postcard, backwaters, beautiful landscape, Kalaripayattu, dance, martial arts. The other Kerala - the northern part of Kerala - Malappuram, Kasaragod, Kozhikode which connects to south Karnataka including Mangaluru, is a terror-network hub.

The ANI shared a video of Sudipto Sen addressing a press conference with the cast of The Kerala Story and real life victims of the alleged terrorist syndicate. The makers of the movie made tall claims about the terror network in the state.

Vipul Shah claimed that the makers of the movie met thousands of women who are the victims of terror syndicate.

Starring Adah Sharma, Kerala Story revolves around a Hindu woman from Kerala who converts to Islam and is taken to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

Political parties and social activists in Kerala have questioned the claims of the Kerala Story on 32,000 women from Kerala converted to Islam to join with ISIS which the filmmakers have withdrawn later.
