Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu gets a release date

Nivin Pauly, who is now a leading light in Malayalam film industry, is gearing up for his upcoming release Sakhavu. The release of the movie is slated for April 14, which makes it even more special for Nivin as his first movie for this year will hit the screens on Vishu. The movie is a much awaited one not only for its start cast, but also because it is being directed by National Award-winning director Sidhartha Shiva.

Nivin will essay the central character Krishna Kumar, a communist in the political drama. The plot revolves around the changes that take place in Krishna Kumar's life after visiting a medical college. Aishwarya Rajesh plays the female lead. The script for the movie has been written by Sidhartha himself. Apart from Nivin, the movie will also have Sreenivasan in a pivotal role. Aparna Gopinath, Gayathri Suresh, Maniyanpillai Raju and Joju George are the supporting actors. The movie is produced by B Rakesh under the banner of Universal Cinemas.
