Aadujeevitham begins

The Prithviraj-starrer Blessy movie Aadujeevitham starts rolling in Tiruvalla. Upon finishing this schedule, the team would commence shooting in the Gulf countries to complete the rest of the part. “The flashback scenes, before the protagonist begins his miserable life in the Middle East, are shot in Kerala. Major scenes would be canned in desert places. We are exploring the chances to shoot in Morocco,” says a spokesperson of the movie. It is an adaptation of the eponymous novel penned by Benyamin, which narrates the hardships faced by a migrant labourer in Saudi Arabia. 

Major locations of the film are Rajasthan, Jordan, Egypt and Oman. The film in 3D format is expected to complete production in 150 days spread across a period of 18 months. Prithviraj enacts the role of Najeeb. Amala Paul plays the female lead. The film hogged the headlines for Oscar winning musician A.R. Rahman’s return to Malayalam film industry after 25 years. He’d be composing three songs and the background score in the film. Lyrics are penned by Rafeeq Ahamed. Bollywood cameraman K.U. Mohanan is the DoP. Resul Pookutty handles sound designing. Produced by K.G. Abraham under the banner of KGA Films, the Aadujeevitham is slated for a 2020 release.
