Megastar’s Blessing, Sankeerth Konda’s Backing: Vijay Rajkumar Returns with Delulu

The team behind the upcoming Telugu film Delulu made a splash at AAA Cinemas on September 3 for a grand teaser launch event. Backed by producer Sankeerth Konda under the Creative Launchpad banner—who previously gained recognition for producing the youth drama Eesaraina—the project brings together a promising blend of fresh energy and creative ambition.

At the heart of the film is writer-actor Vijay Rajkumar, who made his debut with Em Chestunnavu. In Delulu, Rajkumar steps into a pivotal role behind the scenes, having written the story as well as contributing additional screenplay and dialogues.

Speaking to the media at the launch, Rajkumar shared how Megastar Chiranjeevi directly inspired his current path. Following his debut, he found himself at a crossroads, unsure whether to focus on acting, writing, or directing. The turning point came when Chiranjeevi sent him an appreciation message praising his dedication to cinema, followed by a status update featuring Michael Jackson.

Noticing that the Megastar had saved his contact as "Actor Vijay Rajkumar" gave him the ultimate confidence boost. "When Chiranjeevi Garu believes in me as an actor, why shouldn't I believe in myself?" Vijay Rajkumar remarked during the press meet. That wave of validation motivated him to pen the story for Delulu.

Producer Sankeerth Konda and the banner Creative Launchpad have strongly backed Vijay Rajkumar's vision, building a dynamic lineup around the project. Directed by Preetham Kasturi, the film stars Veni rao and Sai Prasanna as the female leads, with key roles played by Akhil Jackson, Abhinay Tula, and Sri Rama Mandava. The technical crew features scriptwriter Reshmith S. Kaushika, DOP Jairaj Naidu, editor Harikrishna Kurapati, and music composer Adi Chebrolu.

With strong backing from Sankeerth Konda, a passionate young crew, and inspiration drawn from Megastar Chiranjeevi, Vijay Rajkumar's Delulu is gearing up to make its mark with youth audiences across the Telugu states.
