Manchu Manoj Happy to Work with His Favourite Shriya Saran

Popular actor Manchu Manoj, son of veteran star Mohan Babu, expressed his delight at finally sharing screen space with his favourite heroine Shriya Saran. Speaking at the trailer launch of Mirai in Hyderabad, Manoj said, “Shriya is my favorite heroine. Earlier, we planned to do a film together, but it didn’t happen. Finally, with this film, the opportunity has come. For some incidents that happen in the movie, I’m saying sorry in advance,” he laughed. Shriya responded with a smile. His comments have since gone viral on social media.

The actor also heaped praise on producer T. G. Vishwaprasad, calling him the “King of Content.” He added, “These days, it’s very difficult to survive in the industry. Without any backing, he came here with the aim of producing a hundred films and is working toward it. I’ve never seen such determination in a producer. In an industry full of big sharks, only people like him can stand tall.” His remarks became a major talking point.

Reflecting on his recent success, Manoj said his last outing Bhairavaram brought him both recognition and financial success. “I received many cheques after my performance in Bhairavaram. I am thankful to director Vijay Kanakamedala. It’s ample proof of my comeback,” he noted.

In Mirai, Manoj is playing the antagonist, while Teja Sajja headlines the film.
