Mahhi Vij Says She Did Not Take Alimony from Jay Bhanushali

Bigg Boss 20 contestant Mahhi Vij has revealed that she did not take any alimony or ask for maintenance from her estranged husband Jay Bhanushali. She said she wants to be financially independent and secure her daughter Tara’s future on her own.

During a conversation with Aasif Khan inside the Bigg Boss house, Vij spoke about her relationship with Jay and her decision not to take money from him. She said Jay always offers to help her and even encourages her to go out while he takes care of Tara. However, Mahhi said her life revolves around her daughter and she does not want to ask Jay for money because he has worked hard to earn it.

Vij also revealed that during their court proceedings, the judge asked her four times to reconsider her decision of not taking alimony or maintenance. But she refused, saying that Jay had earned the money through his hard work.

She clarified that Jay would never refuse to help her if she needed anything. She said everything is open for her, but she wants to stand on her own feet and take responsibility for her daughter’s future.

Earlier, after Vij and Bhanushali announced their divorce in January, reports claimed that Mahhi had demanded Rs 5 crore as alimony.

Mahhi later addressed these reports in a YouTube vlog and asked people not to believe such claims without hearing the truth from her. She also requested privacy for herself and her children during this time.
