Vishal Injured While Doing Action Sequences?

After Ram Charan and Jr NTR, now Tamil star Vishal reportedly sustained minor injuries while filming an action sequence for Purushan, the upcoming Tamil film directed by Sundar C. According to reports, the incident occurred during the ongoing Goa schedule, following which the shoot was temporarily halted. The actor has reportedly been advised to rest before returning to the sets.

Purushan, titled Mogudu for its Telugu release, is an action comedy featuring Vishal and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. The project marks the fourth collaboration between Vishal and Sundar C after Aambala, Action and Madha Gaja Raja. Yogi Babu is also part of the principal cast.

The makers introduced Purushan through an extended title promo that offered a glimpse into its unusual premise. Vishal appears to play an apparently submissive husband who secretly possesses a violent side, while Tamannaah portrays his dominant wife. The promotional material combines domestic comedy with action and has generated interest.

The film began production in Chennai earlier this year before subsequent schedules. With the Goa action schedule temporarily affected by Vishal’s injury, the team is expected to resume filming after his recovery.

Vishal has gained appreciation of Telugu audience with films like Pandem and Pogaru but his last few films haven't done well including Magudam in Telugu states.
