Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay's Jana Nayagan will hit theatres in the United Kingdom on July 24. The film's UK distributor, Ahimsa Entertainment, shared the update on social media. They confirmed that British audiences will get to see the movie completely uncut.
The film has received a 15 rating for its UK release. This uncut version will showcase all the action and commercial mass elements exactly as the director intended.
This stands in contrast to the upcoming release in India. The film faced a seven-month delay in its home country due to certification hurdles. The Central Board of Film Certification recently cleared it with an A certificate after requesting twelve major modifications.
Jana Nayagan serves as Vijay's final film before he focuses entirely on his political career. Tickets have already gone on sale across the UK. The action thriller is directed by H Vinoth. It features a star-studded cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Mamitha Baiju.
