Vijay Sethupathi–Mani Ratnam Film Goes on Floors in Kolkata
The entire shoot is expected to be completed in about 40 days.
Director Mani Ratnam is all set to direct his next movie, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. The makers of the movie are yet to make an official announcement regarding the shooting schedule, though production is expected to begin in a couple of days.
According to reports, the first schedule of the yet-to-be-titled movie will take place in Kolkata. Filming in Kolkata is expected to last for 10 days, after which the team will head to Puducherry for the next schedule. The entire shoot is expected to be completed in about 40 days. AR Rahman will compose the music for the film.
Vijay will next be seen in Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the movie also features Samyuktha and Tabu in prominent roles. The versatile actor has previously worked with Mani once. As for Sai Pallavi, she is currently doing Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana movies, the first part of which will be released for Diwali this year.
