Comedian Vivekh, who is popular among kids, was aptly chosen to launch the comic book based on the recently released Gautham Karthik’s fantasy adventure Indrajith directed by Kala Prabhu, son of film producer Kalaipuli S Thanu.

Speaking on the occasion, amidst hundred-odd children, Vivekh said, “It is very difficult to popularise comic characters. Like how Thanu sir’s home banner V Creations that has made films like Kabali is known for its grandeur, here also the banner has not compromised on the quality and the book has glossy and attractive visuals. Kudos to Kala Prabhu and his creative team for bringing out the Indrajith comic book. There are also games being developed from this unit which will be out soon.”

He also encouraged the kids to remain patient and persevere hard to achieve in life and advised the parents to identify their hidden talents.

Talking about the present state of the film industry he said, “I request big films to give way for small movies as there are umpteen number of such films waiting to see the light of the day. I also appeal to all the associations including TFPC, Directors Union, FEFSI, etc. to discuss and ensure smooth release of small budget films and also see to that they run at least for two weeks in the
theaters.”
