AR Rahman composes theme music for Vijay's Sarkar
Director A.R. Murugadoss has wrapped up 70 per cent of the film's shoot.
Although music composer AR Rahman has collaborated with Vijay for films like Udhaya, Azhagiya Tamizh Magan and Mersal in the past, he has never composed the signature theme music for any of the actor’s film. Now, we hear that the Oscar-winner has started working on an intense theme song for the upcoming movie Sarkar. Insiders reveal that the team can’t stop raving about it.
Director A.R. Murugadoss has wrapped up 70 per cent of the film’s shoot. Vijay will soon leave for Las Vegas to shoot an intro scene and a song sequence. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Sun Pictures, the production company, has reportedly sold the theatrical rights for Tamil Nadu to Thenandal Films, the company that produced Vijay’s Mersal.
We earlier reported that Radha Ravi would be playing the film’s main villain. It is also believed that Varalaxmi will be seen in a crucial role, but it has been kept under wraps so far. Now, it has been revealed that Varu will play the CM’s daughter, and this character will also have shades of grey.
