Composer Vishal Chandrashekar, acclaimed for his music in Jackpot, is a busy man these days as he shuttles between Tamil and Telugu. Vishal, who is composing the music for Gopichand’s Tollywood spy thriller Chanakya, is simultaneously working on Vaibhav Reddy-Nandhita starrer Taana, which is said to be musically challenging.

Speaking to DC, Vishal says, “Yes, the background score is very crucial for Taana. It is really quirky in a sense as the lead protagonist’s (Vaibhav) voice would sound like a woman whenever he is in extreme joy or sadness. So, the BGM would also need to be unconventional in those scenes. Tanaa has a mix of thrills, mystery, comedy, horror and politics and music plays an essential character.”

There’s a song ‘Nee Mayakkura’ where Vishal has used 40 violins while recording at Harris Jayaraj’s studio. The catchy tune released by Anirudh is going viral.
