First look of the film

The first look poster of Tollywood actor Vishnu Manchu’s debut and straight Tamil film Kural 388 (Voter in Telugu) featuring the faces of the popular political leaders across the nation and Vishnu’s intense look displaying his inked finger, released recently and received tremendous response.

The poster, which features the images of MGR, Karunanidhi, J. Jayalalithaa, Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu CM E. Palaniswami, MK Stalin and several other noted leaders went viral and created a buzz in the social media platforms for its quirky nature.

Directed by GS Karthik, Kural 388 is a political thriller. Surbhi, who was last seen in Pugazh with Jai, is essaying Vishnu’s pair. Talking about the film, the director said, “Voters are like the building blocks of any democracy. Politicians make false promises to patronise voters. But once the election is over, voters are totally forgotten. A voter revolting for his rights is the plot of this film. It sends out a message as how powerful a voter is in a democratic setup.

The universal concept of the story will appeal to audiences across languages. And this film will be a perfect launch pad for Vishnu in Tamil.” Thaman composes the music tracks for the flick.
