Dhanush fans join fight against banner culture

The club has requested all Dhanush fans to celebrate the film utilising the money for social causes instead.

Dhanush is the latest one to join the list of stars like Suriya, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Rajini and Ajith who requested their fans not to erect posters or banners during their film releases. 

The Dhanush fans and welfare club has issued a statement requesting all Dhanush fans to avoid keeping banners or flex boards for his upcoming film Asuran.

The club has requested all Dhanush fans to celebrate the film utilising the money for social causes instead.

Asuran marks Dhanush’s collaboration with national award winning filmmaker Vetri Maaran for the fourth time. Their earlier movie includes Polladhavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai.

Bankrolled by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under the banner V Creations, Asuran stars M’town powerhouse performer Manju Warrier, Prakash Raj, Pasupathy, Balaji Sakthivel, Yogi Babu, Ken Karunas among others. Slated for October 4 release, the movie is based on popular novel Vekkai.

One may recall Suriya’s fans distributed helmets to thousands of people during his recent release Kaappaan.
